The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist. The SLP will provide and direct speech therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and program development, under physician orders.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluating patients, coordinating care with families and the team, and documenting results. Masters in Speech-Language Pathology and a current state license (or eligibility) are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state license or license eligible.
• Demonstrates good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides and directs Speech Therapy services to patients, including assessment and treatment.
• Develops and implements treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
• Coordinates treatment with patients, families, and the care team.
• Documents assessment results, treatment, and progress.
• Supervises students/volunteers as applicable.
• Maintains compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
• Participates in discharge planning and community programming.
