Job summary

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide and direct Speech Therapy services for patients, including assessment, treatment, and program development. The role works under physician orders and supports the care team in achieving patient communication goals.

Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current state license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech Therapy services to patients, including assessment and treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to coordinate care.
• Document results and maintain records per procedures.
• Supervise students and volunteers as permitted by state regulations.
• Participate in discharge planning and home/community programming as needed.
