Valley Health System seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver goal-directed evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for patients across age groups with cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.

The role requires an active ASHA certification and NJ state licensure, with BLS and possible CFY candidacy. Day shift, on-site at The Valley Hospital-Paramus, within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, Communication Disorders or related areas from an accredited college or university.
• No previous experience required.
• Current ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
• New Jersey license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current BLS certification.
• CFY candidate may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide SLP evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for patients across age groups with cognitive, communication, or swallowing disabilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health-team members to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards.
