Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist I, CPT in Asheville, NC. You will provide clinical, programming, and education support to Territory Managers and customers, helping to drive adoption of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.

You will engage with physicians, staff, and clients, delivering in-services and troubleshooting, while building strong relationships and expanding knowledge of implantable device products. Occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to educate and communicate clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, clinical, and programming assistance to support Territory Managers.
• Assist with after-hours call support and activities.
• Build trust and rapport with customers and accounts; identify sales opportunities.
• Conduct clinical in-services, trainings, and troubleshooting for Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Develop knowledge of accounts, monitor competitor activity, and provide feedback to providers.
• Travel up to 25% within the region and/or outside the region.
