Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Irvine, CA is seeking a Field Clinical Specialist to support the Cordella PA Sensor System across the territory. Qualifications

• 5 years of experience related to medical devices, cath lab, and/or clinical experience in an acute care environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Knowledge of valve crimping, case management, pre-case planning, post-case management, therapy awareness program management, and clinical education programs.
• Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to Edwards medical products.
• Understanding of medical device regulatory requirements, documents, device accountability, and adverse event reporting.

Responsibilities

• Attend and support implant procedures inside and outside the assigned territory
• Maintain contact with customers to evaluate clinical and educational needs
• Lead internal meetings to identify root causes of field issues
• Lead site meetings, including site initiation visits
• Perform on-site training for physicians, heart failure staff, research staff, and cath lab staff
• Perform on-site field service activities and troubleshooting
• Represent IHFM at conferences and symposiums
• Initiate site contacts and provide technical and clinical support to customers and patients
• Collaborate with other departments on company direction, new product development, and customer satisfaction
• Engage in training, troubleshooting, data analysis, and field service activities under the guidance of the Area Sales Manager

Requirements
