About the role:

The Clinical Specialist will independently handle VasQ cases, training surgical teams on the safe and effective use of the VasQ device. This role involves covering VasQ cases in the assigned territory, providing clinical product assistance, and supporting physician and sales training programs. Join us to improve fistula creation and patient outcomes with VasQ.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Training surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and supporting cases verbally.
  2. Staying updated on perioperative surgical practices and hospital/ASC policies.
  3. Developing technical expertise to serve as an educational and clinical resource.
  4. Providing feedback to improve training tools and techniques.
  5. Ensuring accurate customer inventory management.
  6. Collaborating with the US Sales team for seamless clinical implementation.
  7. Supporting research and data collection at study sites.
  8. Assisting in procedural training for physicians and medical staff.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

  • Experience with procedures in the OR setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED, or an associate degree with at least 4 years in a clinical specialist or related role, preferably in medical devices; or a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in a similar role.
  • Customer relationship and procedural skills.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
  • Travel availability of 60-80%.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet vision requirements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • OR experience, especially in surgery or vascular procedures; dialysis access experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates include nurses, radiology techs, or surgical techs.
