Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian’s Center for Community Health and Education (CCHE) seeks a Clinical Social Worker for the Columbia School-Based Health Program. You will join a multidisciplinary primary care team serving high school students in SBHCs and provide psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and mental health outreach.

Required MSW with NY LMSW license, 2+ years’ experience with adolescents, and Spanish bilingual ability.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and New York LMSW license.
• Licensed in New York as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker).
• At least two years of experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to high school students.
• Experience with diagnostic evaluations.
• Experience working within interdisciplinary teams.
• Bilingual in Spanish and experienced with diverse adolescent populations.

NewYork-Presbyterian’s Center for Community Health and Education (CCHE) operates seven school-based health centers serving 23 public schools in Harlem, Washington Heights/Inwood, and the Bronx (SBHCs). These centers are part of the NewYork-Presbyterian Ambulatory Care Network. The SBHCs are open year-round and provide students with on-site access to comprehensive clinical services, including integrated primary medical, preventive, dental, and mental health care and a diverse array of health education and health promotion services. SBHC services are coordinated with the students’ parents, family physicians, and other community- based providers.

Clinical Social Worker School Based Health Program – Columbia

Join a dynamic, interdisciplinary primary care team working with high school children in a school -based health center. Provide individual and group psychotherapy, crisisintervention, short-term intervention, and mental health outreach and education universal interventions.

This is a Monday-Friday day working from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

PreferredCriteria

• LCSW
• At least two years of experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to high school-children
• Experience with diagnostic evaluations

• Bilingual in Spanish and experienced working with diverse adolescent populations

Salary Range:

$45.61-$61.08/Hourly
