Cambridge Health Alliance seeks a Clinical Social Worker in the Psychiatric Emergency Service to contribute to a fast-paced, multidisciplinary treatment team. You will conduct psychiatric assessments, provide crisis counseling, and help implement individualized treatment plans for acutely distressed patients.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians, with duties including resource identification and information gathering from patients and their supports.

Qualifications

• Licensed social worker (LCSW/LICSW) in Massachusetts.
• Must be credentialed by CHA Medical Staff for practice.
• Minimum two years post-master’s experience with acute psychiatric population preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs psychiatric assessments and crisis counseling in the PES under medical supervision.
• Participates in treatment planning for patients in the PES.
• Identifies resources and gathers collateral information from patients and supports.
