Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a new social worker to join the Child Protection Program for a 30-hour weekly role focused on psychosocial support, assessment, advocacy, and consultation for children and families affected by suspected maltreatment.
Qualified candidates will have a Master’s in Social Work and LICSW licensure with at least 5 years of licensed experience, preferably in medical settings and child protection matters.
New social work position (30 hrs.) needed to provide a range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents, and families in the Child Protection Program (CPP) at Boston Children's Hospital, with a focus on psychosocial support, assessment, advocacy, and consultation for children and families affected by suspected child maltreatment. Established in 1970, the CPP’s core goal is to ensure that children suspected of being maltreated receive appropriate medical care, psychosocial support, and advocacy to address immediate medical and safety needs. The Child Protection Team provides 24/‑ 7 on‑call coverage, expert consultation services, case‑specific support, and professional training to hospital staff on issues of child maltreatment.
Education:
Master’s degree in social work required.

This position also requires on call evenings and weekends as part of the regular rotation
