Description
The Department of Mental Health Dr. John C. Corrigan Mental Health Center (JCCMHC) is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinician for our Outpatient Department. The identified candidate will be a part of the JCCMHC Outpatient Team responsible for engaging and assessing individuals in a variety of settings, who have been deemed clinically eligible for DMH Services.
The Clinician will complete the Needs and Means Assessments, Psycho-diagnostic evaluations of individuals presenting for services, referrals to internal and external entities as needed, develop initial treatment plans, provide individual/group therapy and coordinate the preparation of client records. The identified candidate will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides comprehensive services to adult individuals living in the community in a variety of settings. The Outpatient Clinician is responsible for leading trauma informed, person centered assessments and treatment planning activities ensuring the interventions utilized are evidenced based and best practices.
Please Note: This position is 40 hours per week. The selected candidate will work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Days Off: Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE: None. (See Required Education and Licenses.)
REQUIRED EDUCATION: A Master's or higher degree in social work.
LICENSES: Based on assignment, travel may be required. Those employees who elect to use a motor vehicle for travel must have a current and valid Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Operator's license or the equivalent from another state.
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
