Job summary

The Chicago School's Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine is hiring a part‑time Clinical Skills Educator to provide hands‑on instruction to medical students on physical examination, OMM techniques, and clinical reasoning. This onsite role emphasizes safety, hands‑on lab supervision, and collaboration with Course Directors to align with curriculum goals.

Successful candidates will bring DO/MD or equivalent clinical training, solid communication skills, and a commitment to teaching adult

Qualifications

• Must have DO/MD or healthcare professional training with clinical experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and online resources for preparatory materials.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate small-group instruction during Clinical skills and/or OMM laboratory sessions.
• Demonstrate and guide student performance of physical exam, clinical skills, and osteopathic palpation/techniques.
• Provide formative feedback to enhance psychomotor skill acquisition and professional growth.
• Reinforce osteopathic philosophy, anatomy, biomechanics, and clinical application.
