Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director, Site Engagement to drive the site relationship strategy across multiple states. You will partner with clinical sites, internal teams, and CROs to position AstraZeneca as the sponsor of choice and to optimize feasibility and recruitment performance.

In this hybrid role, you will oversee execution, monitor site performance, and mentor local study teams while ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and AZ procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or related field and relevant stakeholder interactions.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Clinical Operations (CRA/SrCRA/LSAD) or related fields.
• Knowledge of drug development, ICH-GCP, country regulations, and study management.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic partnership models for deployment across key clinical sites.
• Strengthen site relationships to enhance performance and enable feasible, timely study execution.
• Lead site feasibility activities and set realistic recruitment targets using data insights.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, CROs, and internal teams to optimize site engagement.
• Monitor site performance with defined metrics and drive continuous improvement.
