Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania – Bloomsburg is seeking a Nurse Instructor to guide nursing students in psychomotor and clinical decision-making through simulation. You will lead skill demonstrations, supervise student managers and graduate assistants, and ensure safe, well‑equipped simulation labs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing (or higher) and a current PA RN license, with teaching and clinical instruction experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional nursing experience, current within 6 months, preferably inpatient medical/surgical or critical care.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Possession of a current RN license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• Employees with a temporary license must obtain full licensure within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in developing psychomotor clinical skills and validate demonstrations.
• Supervise undergraduate SC managers and graduate assistants in the Simulation Center.
• Debrief students after simulations to enhance clinical decision‑making.
• Maintain SC facility safety, equipment, inventory, and ongoing communication with faculty.
