Bellefaire JCB is seeking a Clinical Services Therapist to join its Residential Treatment Program in Ohio. The role involves delivering biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and a range of therapy services to youth aged 8-17 within a multidisciplinary team.

You will lead groups, provide crisis intervention when needed, and ensure accurate documentation to meet licensing standards. A Master’s in Social Work or related field and an Ohio LSW/LPC/MFT license are required.

• Valid Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT license.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical services including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and reviews.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy and aftercare planning.
• Collaborate with the treatment team on planning, progress, and ongoing needs.
• Lead and plan therapeutic groups and individual clients in Day Treatment and Group Therapy.
• Assist in crisis intervention and problem resolution.
• Ensure client safety and use Therapeutic Crisis Model of Intervention as needed.
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
• Provide back-up support to other staff as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: Minimum Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
2. Licensure: Valid Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFTrequired.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Services Therapist is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and is responsible for the development, implementation and management of curriculum and treatment of youth in the Residential Treatment Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Provide professional clinical services, including but not limited to: biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and reviews, individual counseling, group counseling, family therapy, consultation, aftercare planning, and termination reports.
2. Collaborate with respective treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner.
3. Responsible for group/team leading and clinical planning of therapeutic groups and individual clients involved in Day Treatment and Group Therapy.
4. Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis.
5. Protect clients from physical and emotional harm emanating from themselves, others, or the environment including use of the Therapeutic Crisis Model of Intervention, utilizing physical restraints as necessary.
6. Attendance to staffing and/or clinical rounds as necessary for youth and family.
7. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
8. Provide back up support to other staff members as directed.

OTHER DUTIES:

1. Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
2. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
3. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client's treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
4. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
5. Other duties as assigned by management.
