Job summary

City of Norfolk seeks a Clinical Supervisor for the Same Day Access team to oversee and mentor staff, ensure high-quality clinical services, and drive program development within a public service framework.

The role reports to the Norfolk CSB and requires leadership in clinical supervision, staff coaching, and regulatory compliance while advancing recovery-oriented care for the community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field (e.g., psychology, social work).
• Six (6) years of college resulting in a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience in a management and/or administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision to staff within the Same Day Access program.
• Interviews potential employees and checks credentials and/or references.
• Monitors program utilization, outcomes and revenue.
• Coordinates delivery of quality clinical services via assigned staff.
• Ensures compliance with agency policies and confidentiality in documentation.
