Qualifications

• Education – High School or equivalent.
• Training – Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant Training preferred. Cerner (CIS).
• Special Skills – Communication, Customer Service, Computer Skills. Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and assemble patient charts from admission to discharge.
• Process patient orders and coordinate exams, lab tests and transportation.
• Greet patients, answer phones, and direct visitors; provide patient information to staff.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges; retrieve medications for nurses.
