Job summary

Sam's Club in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our on-site pharmacy team. You will process prescriptions, assist customers, stock supplies, and support immunizations and other clinical services in accordance with state regulations.

You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely, accurate medication dispensation, manage inventory, and participate in ongoing training while upholding Sam's Club standards and patient-first service.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Prior work experience in pharmacy operations, medication dispensation, inventory management, pharmacy training and development, vaccine administration, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy services, processing prescriptions and OTC orders, stocking and organizing the pharmacy area.
• Assist with inventory management, place orders, track stock levels, and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to dispense medications timely and accurately.
• Participate in training to stay updated on industry standards and best practices in pharmacy operations.
• Promote company policies, ethics, and integrity while delivering patient-centered service.
• Support customer service and member needs, resolving issues and assisting with purchases and payments.
