Job summary

CVS Health in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the store's pharmacy team, ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, and deliver caring service to patients.

You will follow SOPs, participate in immunizations when qualified, handle inventory, assist across shifts, and travel between market stores as needed. This role requires compliance with state boards and CVS policies, with a typical 20 hours per week schedule.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age and licensure/certification where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required to meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Empathetic customer service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Accurate prescription labeling and verification.
• Conduct basic inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed.
• Follow all CVS SOPs and store procedures for safe dispensing.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient health services as allowed by law.
• Travel to market stores to support scheduling and coverage.
