Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to lead clinical operations at a resident- and family-focused facility. You will build and mentor the clinical team, ensure high-quality, safe patient care, and uphold center policies in the absence of the Executive Director.

The role emphasizes budgeting, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care and continuous improvement across nursing services.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice.
• RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in nursing services administration.
• Experience in a setting serving a similar resident population.
• Knowledge of management, budgeting, and planning.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for center functions.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory compliance.
• Qualified, compassionate, dedicated to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians and other team members.
• Lead delivery of high quality, efficient and safe patient care; carry out resident care policies in the absence of the Executive Director.
• Set and monitor nursing department goals aligned with philosophy and standards of practice and nursing ethics.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plan and state requirements.
• Evaluate and update competency/skills checklists for nursing staff including contracted staff.
• Prepare and assure adherence to an annual operating budget for the nursing department.
• Maintain and guide policies reflecting adherence to regulatory guidelines and person-centered care.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and resolve grievances.
• Provide innovative healthcare improvements to optimize systems and processes.
