Job summary

Aviata Health Group seeks a qualified Director of Clinical Services to lead clinical operations at the Tampa/Largo facility. The DON will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will mentor clinical leadership, manage budgets, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and drive initiatives to improve patient outcomes and care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active RN license
• Experience in nursing services administration
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing center functions
• Understanding of accreditation standards and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians.
• Ensure delivery of high quality, efficient and safe patient care.
• Set and monitor goals for nursing department in line with philosophy and standards.
• Recruit, hire and retain qualified nursing staff.
• Manage annual operating budget for nursing department.
• Maintain policies reflecting person-centered care and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to optimize care.
• Address resident rights and grievances.
• Drive innovation to improve systems and processes.
