We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Services Associate to join a busy Colon & Rectal Surgery practice in Doylestown, PA. This role combines Medical Assistant and Patient Service Representative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both direct patient care and administrative support.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a medical office, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Clinical (Medical Assistant) Duties
- Room and prepare patients for provider visits.
- Obtain and document patient information, including vital signs and medical history, as appropriate.
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
- Answer patient questions and provide instructions as directed.
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms.
- Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
- Answer incoming phone calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries professionally.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars.
- Check patients in and out for appointments.
- Collect, organize, and maintain medical records and supporting documentation.
- Track referrals and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Upload patient records, images, and clinical documentation into the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain accurate patient information and confidentiality.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support daily office operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Patient Service Representative, or Medical Office Assistant preferred.
- Experience working in a physician office, outpatient clinic, or healthcare setting required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Doylestown, PA.
