Qualifications

• One year of experience in long term care, hospice care, or healthcare setting.
• Two years of experience in health record processing and maintenance, preferably in long term care.
• Must pay extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedules staff and coordinates with HR and DON to ensure adequate staffing.
• Creates and distributes monthly staffing schedules for Nurses and CNAs.
• Monitors shifts to maintain PPD range and fills open shifts.
• Collaborates with HR, DON, and Administrator on placement and orientation for new nursing personnel.
• Maintains ongoing communication with supervisors on scheduling issues.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in facility orientation.
• Performs receptionist duties such as telephone answering and filing.
