Summary

The Clinical Sales Liaison serves as an on-site vital link between healthcare providers, patients, and our organization, ensuring seamless transitions of care by promoting our home medical equipment (HME) and respiratory services. This role involves building strong relationships with referral sources, educating medical professionals on our services, and supporting patients in their transition to home-based care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sales, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Service teams in obtaining patient chart notes and documentation needed to meet insurance coverage criteria.
  • Attend PHM Sales Team meetings to stay current on team and company needs.
  • Present PHM and yourself professionally to enhance trust and organizational image within the medical community.
  • Work after hours as needed.
  • Deliver and set up PAP therapy equipment as required.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on respiratory and other equipment provided by PHM, including troubleshooting, options, insurance guidelines, and company processes. Serve as a resource for customers, referral sources, and the community through updates and periodic in-service education.
  • Follow up and communicate effectively with customers and referral sources to ensure quality service and resolve concerns.
  • Adhere to insurance guidelines, company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance, and clear communication of financial and process expectations.
  • Work effectively within a team setting.
  • Be flexible in daily routines to ensure timely equipment delivery to all referrals and patients.
Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience

A bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited institution is preferred, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience or training. A combination of education and experience will also be considered. Prior experience in home medical equipment and respiratory services is highly desirable.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats to come to effective solutions that meet standards.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform basic math operations and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
