Job summary

Working Nurse in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a Clinical RN Tele/Cardiac for full-time hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The RN will independently apply the nursing process to care for a patient group in accordance with HMNMH policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualified applicants must hold a California RN license, current BLS and ACLS cards; an ASN is required and a BSN is strongly preferred. Telemetry experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• Current BLS provider card
• Current ACLS provider card required on all telemetry capable units
• Certified in field of specialty (PCCN) preferred
• MS1 – Telemetry course required, chest pain observation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNMH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
• Independently apply nursing process to patient care while adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain telemetry capabilities and provide patient-centered care on the telemetry unit.
