Job summary

Bayview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New Bern, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide, coordinate, and supervise nursing care for residents in our skilled nursing and long-term care community.

The RN will serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality, compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor staff in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation/long-term care preferred.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and nursing interventions.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, facility policies, and state/federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
