Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• One year external nursing experience or Nurse Residency completion if hired as new graduate.
• Current Virginia RN license or active multistate licensure; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, manages, and documents the care provided to assigned patients.
• Leads and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to plan patient care.
• Practices under Centra's Professional Practice Model and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Ensures patient safety and a healthy work environment.
• Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals and quality indicators.
• Delivers patient and caregiver education using applicable resources.
• Manages admissions, transfers, and discharges safely and efficiently.
