Job summary

Centra Health is seeking a Clinical Registered Nurse II to manage individualized patient care, collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality nursing services. The RN II will assume a full patient assignment, plan care, and intervene as needed to achieve patient outcomes.

The role requires a Diploma or ADN in Nursing, Virginia RN license (or compact license), and BLS; one year of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing (RN) experience.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Virginia RN license or a compact license to practice in Virginia; AHA BLS Provider.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individualized patient assessments and prioritizes data collection.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans with measurable goals.
• Performs treatments as ordered and executes therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Recognizes urgent or emergent risks and initiates appropriate responses.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care interventions.
