Integrated Spine is a newly integrated inpatient spine unit that consolidates neurologic and orthopedic spine patients into one location. This allows for high-quality, standardized care for all patients regardless of surgeon specialty. This unit is the newest addition to the surgical services team and provides an opportunity for nurses to help build this unique unit. Nurses on this unit will become adept in both the neurologic and orthopedic realms of nursing as they will care for patients who undergo a wide variety of surgical procedures. We specialize in treatment of degenerative spine conditions, traumatic spinal injuries, complex spinal reconstructive surgeries, spinal tumors, and spinal revision surgeries.
