Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.
• Experience is based on level I–IV.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient’s care plan.
• Provides direct nursing care according to physician orders and policies.
• Documents assessments and care provided in the patient’s chart.
• Develops an individualized plan of care and adjusts based on patient needs.
• Mentors/precepts new staff and supports staff development.
• Ensures discharge planning and patient education are part of care.
