Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in behavioral health to support the Emergency Department. You will provide patient-centered care for behavioral health patients, uphold policies and evidence-based practices, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a California RN license, strong communication and clinical skills, and a preference for BSN.

Formación

• Current California RN license.
• Certification by appropriate governing body desirable (AACN, ANCC).
• Current BLS provider card.
• Current Workplace Violence certification required.
• Current LAC DMH LPS Evaluator & Allied Health Credentialed Professional required.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring optimized care for behavioral health patients in the Emergency Department, promoting and adhering to policies, procedures and evidence-based practices. They are also responsible for streamlining the process of admission to the BHU of patients both from within HMNH Emergency Department and from other sources.
