Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Clinical Risk Manager to lead the day-to-day clinical risk program for the inpatient hospital. The role requires BSN and extensive nursing experience with leadership in risk management, patient safety, and quality improvement.

The CRM serves as a consultant to physicians and staff, reviews incidents and medical records, and collaborates with Operations, Quality, and Legal to mitigate risk and improve patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• 5–7 years nursing exp in hospital/clinical setting.
• 1–3 years progressive leadership in risk management or quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Administer the clinical risk management program daily.
• Investigate incidents and manage risk areas.
• Review incident reports and medical records for risk assessment.
• Collaborate with leadership, physicians and staff on risk issues.
• Serve on System Risk/Patient Safety/Quality committees.
• Support litigation process with System Director.
