Job summary
Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Clinical Risk Manager to review and investigate reported events, assess risks, and lead risk mitigation initiatives across hospital units. You will collaborate with Claims, Performance Improvement, and leadership to enhance patient safety and maintain high reliability, with on-call duties and travel to Endeavor sites as needed.
Required are a Bachelor's in Health Administration or Nursing, 5+ years clinical experience, and 2+ years in a risk-management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or Nursing required.
- 5+ years clinical experience in healthcare setting.
- 2+ years patient safety/risk management experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic and RL Solutions is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review events for inpatient units and procedural areas.
- Identify risks and liabilities of reported events.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for risk mitigation.
- Provide education on patient safety and risk management.
- Lead communication with leadership and departments on safety issues.
