Edward Elmhurst Health seeks a Clinical Risk Manager in Evanston, IL. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, and a 6-week on-call rotation. Travel to Endeavor Health locations is required as part of risk assessment and collaboration with Claims Management.

The position emphasizes reviewing events, identifying risks, and partnering with leadership to implement safety improvements. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or Nursing required.
• 5+ years of clinical experience.
• 2+ years in patient safety/risk management with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with Epic and RL Solutions preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize reported clinical and organizational events to reduce patient safety events.
• Identify risks and liabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with Claims Management on disclosure, documentation, and liability issues.
• Provide education and risk-management support across departments and teams.
• Assist in risk assessments and promote evidence-based patient safety practices.
