Job summary

Brighterway is a remote-first company in the United States developing AI-native claims software for casualty claims. The clinical reviewer will audit AI-generated chronologies and summaries, compare them to source records, and help define clinically correct standards used by physicians, attorneys, and adjusters.

You will write clinical review guidelines, identify omissions or inaccuracies, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of customer-facing reviews and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and at least 5 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in utilization review, nurse case management, medical-legal review or workers’ compensation.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Audit medical summaries, timelines and record classifications against underlying records.
• Write clinical review guidelines and gold-standard examples for the research and engineering teams.
• Flag clinically significant omissions, causation issues and prior-history findings.

About Brighterway

Brighterway builds AI-native claims software and administration for casualty claims. We started in workers’ compensation medical-legal review, where our agentic document pipeline sorts, de-duplicates and summarizes some of the most document-heavy files in the industry for national medical-evaluation networks. We are now building the claims platform on top of that foundation: intake across mail, fax, phone and email, bill review, subrogation, reserving signals, a workflow language, and state and federal reporting.

The role

Our summaries are read by physicians, attorneys and adjusters who make real decisions from them. You will be the clinical conscience of the product: reviewing AI-generated chronologies and summaries against source records, defining what a clinically correct summary looks like, and building the review standards our customers trust.

What you will do

What we look for

• Familiarity with ODG or ACOEM guidelines.
