Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver patient care across med-surg floors as part of the Float Pool.

You will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, document thoroughly, mentor junior staff, and participate in education and initiatives while maintaining confidentiality and high customer service standards.

This part-time role offers 8-hour shifts with rotating times and occasional holidays.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid and Current MA RN License required.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) required.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• 3-5 Years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility within the last 2 years.
• Telemetry experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Rounds on med-surg patient care areas and provides guidance.
• Uses the nursing process and maintains accurate patient records.
• Documents assessment data and communicates plans of care.
• Assesses care quality and adheres to safety policies.
• Administers and monitors medications.
• Transports patients to radiology.
• Mentors less experienced staff.
• Maintains ongoing professional development and participates in committees.
