Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required.
• Texas RN license required; NPD-BC certification within 2 years of employment.
• BLS certification from an AHA-approved program.
• Five years of clinical practice; two years of leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate education activities, competency validation, and clinical programs for the assigned department.
• Provide leadership in quality improvement and human resources support; promote professionalism.
• Mentor staff, participate in nursing organizations and nursing research, and support system nursing initiatives.
