Job summary

NeighborHealth is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse in Boston to support ambulatory nursing teams with education, quality improvement, and practice initiatives. You will provide direct patient care and education while collaborating with department staff.

The role requires a MA RN license with ambulatory care and 3–5 years of nursing practice plus at least 2 years of management experience. BSN preferred. Compensation starts at $44/hr and can reach $64/hr, with evening/weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

  • MA RN license and ambulatory care experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years licensed nursing practice in ambulatory care.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant management experience.
  • BSN preferred or in progress.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving capabilities also required.
  • English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform direct patient care and education to patients 18+ in our South End Dept.
  • Participate in QI activities.
  • Coordinate orientation of new nurses to the department.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager developing/advancing medical assistant practice.
  • Conduct weekly chart reviews with new nurses for their first 3 months of employment and report this information to the RN Manager.
  • Provide clinical input to the RN Manager to complete 3 month review of new RNs, development of goals, and annual performance appraisal.
  • Support nursing implementation and maintenance of transitions of care.

  • Perform direct patient care and patient education to patients ages 18 to greater than 100 years in our South End Dept
  • Participate in QI activities
  • Coordinate orientation of new nurses to the department
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager developing/advancing medical assistant practice
  • Conduct weekly chart reviews with new nurses for their first 3 months of employment and report this information to the RN Manager
  • Provide clinical input to the RN Manager to complete 3 month review of new RNs, development of goals, and annual performance appraisal
  • Support nursing implementation and maintenance of transitions of care

Schedule will include evening/weekend/holiday rotation

Compensation
