Qualifications

• CASAC or CASAC-T with experience in substance abuse/co-occurring disorders.
• HS diploma with several years of relevant experience.
• Must have computer skills.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, obtain clearance from the Office of Children and Family Services and be drug free.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes assessment data including substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
• Completes intake and determines treatment recommendations and level of care.
• Completes psychosocial assessments.
• Develops individualized treatment plans with measurable objectives.
• Provides individual counseling based on treatment plan.
• Conducts group counseling.
• Applies evidence-based practices (CBT, MI, Matrix Model, TF-CBT).
• Provides crisis intervention as needed.
• Completes required documentation accurately and timely.

Education

CASAC and 1 year experience working with applicable populations who have substance abuse/co-occurring disorders

CASAC-T with 2-3 years’ experience working with applicable populations who have substance abuse/co-occurring disorders

HS Diploma and 6 years’ experience working with applicable populations who have substance abuse/co-occurring disorders
