Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Research Technician II (On-Call) to work with healthy volunteers in our Madison, WI office/clinic-based unit. You will read clinical research protocols and participate in fast-paced, team-focused trials spanning multiple therapeutic indications and study types.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA or CNA certification preferred.
• 0–1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
• Prepare and record ECGs/Holters.
• Collect and process biological samples per protocol and ensure proper distribution.
• Monitor participant meals for dietary compliance.
• Assist with room preparation and medical equipment.
• Support screening procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe study environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
