Job summary

Actalent in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Clinical Research Supervisor to lead Phase I oncology studies. This role oversees research staff, ensures GCP compliance, and partners with investigators and sponsors to execute trials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support clinical research personnel in Phase I oncology studies.
• Manage execution of first-in-human and early-phase oncology trials.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), institutional policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators, sponsors, research staff, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Monitor study progress, enrollment goals, data quality, and participant safety.
• Oversee research operations, workflow efficiency, and resource allocation.
• Assist in training, mentoring, and performance management of clinical research staff.
• Facilitate successful study start-up, activation, monitoring visits, and closeout activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance research operations and patient experience

Clinical Research Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical research supervisory/management experience
• Must have Oncology clinical research experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
