We are seeking a Clinical Research Specialist to support research efforts within the Barrow Center for Neuromodulation (BCN). Neuromodulation involves altering nerve activity through targeted stimuli, such as electrical stimulation or chemical agents, at specific neurological sites. This growing field helps restore function or relieve symptoms for various neurological conditions. At BCN, current studies include Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease, Essential tremor, Dystonia, Epilepsy, OCD, and Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) for chronic pain, as well as DBS effects on memory and cognition. This is an exciting area for candidates interested in advancing their research careers.
