Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Research Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a multidisciplinary clinical research program supporting maternal and child nutrition studies, including complex longitudinal studies and randomized controlled trials.

The Manager will supervise supervisors, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets and collaborate with investigators and institutional leadership to translate study protocols into practical, participant-centered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s degree is recommended for advanced responsibilities.
• At least 5 years of related experience with demonstrated leadership readiness.
• Certified Research Specialist (CRS) required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages activities of clinical and non-clinical research program staff.
• Ensures studies and/or systems are staffed appropriately and protocols are followed.
• Leads efforts for audits and compliance reviews.
• Has extensive knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Creates annual budgets, tracks expenditures and infrastructure needs for growth.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
