Launched in 2014, Sanford Imagenetics changes the way providers see risks and patients see their health by integrating genomic medicine into primary care. The Research Program Manager will play a key role in managing the Imagenetics Research portfolio which includes the following areas of focus: Population genomics research, health and economic outcomes research, and Polygenic risk score.
The Research Program Manager will also play a key role in the ImagineYou population health research study that provides a clinical return of results for CDC Tier 1 genetic conditions: Familial Hypercholesterolemia, Hereditary breast and ovarian cancers, and Lynch Syndrome.
The Research Program Manager will work closely with Sanford Health Imagenetics team members who are experts in genomics in specialized areas such as clinical genetics, pharmacogenomics, and bioinformatics. They will partner with colleagues in Enterprise Data analytics, IT, Marketing, and Health Plan to ensure research operations run smoothly and projects successfully meet milestones.
The Research Program Manager applies advanced knowledge and experience to complex projects while ensuring alignment with program objectives. They work independently with minimal direction, determining methods and establishing priorities and timelines. Responsibilities include problem resolution, building professional networks, and assessing program impact on business performance.
The Program Manager has authority over the program and its projects, contributing to process improvement initiatives and influencing stakeholders. They present program/project proposals, updates, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in health services, life sciences, biomedical sciences, nursing, or a clinical field required. A Master's degree in public health, health care, business, or science-related fields is preferred.
Minimum of five years' experience managing full life-cycle projects is desired.
Certification through Association of Clinical Research Professions (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) is required within two years of employment for those supporting Clinical Research responsibilities.
Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position.
