Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Clinical Research Program Manager for an on-site leadership role in Spokane, WA. You will oversee day-to-day operations for a portfolio of industry-sponsored trials, supervise Clinical Research Coordinators, and drive startup, enrollment, and compliance to deliver high-quality research.

The role requires 5+ years of clinical research experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of FDA-regulated processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, science, clinical research or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible clinical research experience.
• Experience independently managing industry-sponsored interventional clinical trials.
• Experience across startup, enrollment, monitoring, data quality, protocol compliance, and closeout.
• Experience supervising or leading Clinical Research Coordinators or staff.
• Strong knowledge of FDA-regulated clinical research, ICH-GCP, informed consent, protocol adherence, source data, and data integrity.
• Experience communicating with sponsors, CROs, monitors, and investigators.
• Current Good Clinical Practice and Human Subjects Protection training.
• ACRP certification (ACRP-CP, CCRC, or CCRA) preferred.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Spokane, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for a portfolio of Phase I–IV trials, from feasibility to closeout.
• Directly supervise, train, mentor, and develop Clinical Research Coordinators.
• Assign study responsibilities based on protocol complexity and workload.
• Monitor enrollment, visits, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure studies are staffed, inspection-ready, and aligned with protocols and SOPs.
• Lead startup activities including feasibility, site qualification, and initiation visits.
• Collaborate with regulatory, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, investigator, vendor, budget/contract, and admin teams.
• Serve as senior point of contact for sponsors, CROs, monitors, and vendors; address concerns.
• Support business development through feasibility and site-selection activities.
• Develop recruitment and retention strategies with study teams.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen workflows, training materials, and quality practices.
• Support sponsor/CRO audits and regulatory inspections.
