Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Accredited Phlebotomy Program required.
• 5-10 years minimum phlebotomy experience in hospital or regulated clinical setting.
• Good reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and conducts scientific investigations in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
• Collects blood from volunteers for laboratory testing and ensures safety by following OSHA guidelines.
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and fingerstick collections.
• Maintains specimen integrity using aseptic technique and SOPs.
• Tracks collected specimens, maintains daily metrics of lab activities.
• Performs pre- and post-analytic phases of sample processing.
• Produces accurate and reliable data.
• Interfaces with R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, QA and Regulatory to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provides technical support to worldwide functions in training and product evaluation.
