Morehouse School of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Pharmacy Technician to assist the Research Pharmacist in preparing, dispensing, and delivering study medications per protocol. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, active CPhT certification and GA registration, and 2–3 years of IV room experience, preferably in pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Current CPhT certification and registration in the state of Georgia.
• Must maintain certifications and registration during entire length of employment.
• 2–3 years of IV room pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a pediatric hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in daily operations of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to IRB approved protocols and GCP requirements.
• Comply with SOPs and institutional policies.
• Maintain IV hoods and surrounding work area.
• Monitor inventory for Investigational Products and supplies.
• Process daily sponsor shipments and related paperwork.
