Qualifications

• Two years as a pharmacy technician in a hospital environment.
• Knowledge of trade/generic drug names.
• Aseptic technique for IV preparation.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage inventory in the absence of the buyer.
• Orient and train technician staff; collect PI and QA data and prepare reports.
