Job summary

Recent Jobs is seeking an OPS Research Coordinator in Gainesville, FL to assist with coordinating clinical research studies in the researcher’s laboratory. The role involves participant screening, enrollment, scheduling, follow-up, and informed consent activities in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

You will support study visits, data and specimen collection, and maintain robust study documentation across electronic databases.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or allied health professional degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred: phlebotomy experience or certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement clinical research studies in Dr. Ronald Staud’s laboratory.
• Screen, recruit, enroll, schedule, and follow up with participants.
• Assist with informed consent in line with study protocols and regulations.
• Coordinate study visits, procedures, data and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate study documentation, source records, case report forms, and electronic databases.
• Enter data and respond to data queries, ensuring data quality.
• Assist with IRB submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Adhere to Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and study team.
