Job summary

Mercy seeks a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate Mercy Research studies, handling day-to-day trial operations, volunteer recruitment, and inventory control. The role interfaces with physicians, nurses, and monitors to ensure compliant data collection and study management.

Requirements include Nursing licensure in the state, 2–3 years nursing experience depending on degree, and strong communication as well as computer skills. Location is Mercy South with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice
• 2 years nursing experience for bachelor’s degree, 3 years for associate’s/diploma
• Ability to perform basic patient assessments and vitals
• Excellent communication with healthcare professionals and the public
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of clinical trials and Mercy Research studies
• Recruit volunteers and manage study enrollment
• Maintain drug/device/supply inventories
• Interface with physicians, nurses, staff, patients, and monitors
• Assist in training and preceptor duties
• Ensure data collection and documentation comply with regulations
