Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a dedicated nurse to support clinical research protocols in adherence with GCP guidelines. The role involves coordinating regulatory submissions, screening and enrolling participants, obtaining informed consent, and completing source documents and CRFs.

The position requires nursing practice and attention to study compliance, including maintaining PHI confidentiality and collaborating with the Investigator and sponsor to ensure study integrity.

Qualifications

• Nursing credentials and licensure appropriate to role.
• Experience in clinical research coordination preferred.
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Submit regulatory documents to research review committees and maintain regulatory documentation.
• Recruit and screen participants, obtain informed consent, educate participants on study requirements, and complete source documents and case report forms (CRFs).
• Conduct nursing assessments of research participants and report findings as required.
• Maintain accurate participant and study records to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, SOPs, and external/regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the Investigator, Sponsor, and internal stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to all policies; maintain PHI confidentiality with annual training and UH policies.
